Ferrari 458 Italia

Unveiled during the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show on 15 September 2009, the Italia is the successor of the famed F430 which was in production from 2004 to 2009. This car is powered by a 4,499cc V8 engine. Featuring only a automatic transmission, it is the first mainstream model not to be offered a manual transmission. Other Ferrari models known to have the same treatment was the Enzo, Challenge Stradale and 430 Scuderia.

The 458 Italia accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in merely 3.4 seconds and having a top speed of over 325km/h - This mid-engine model could lap the Fiorano test track with a timing of 1:16.5 which is 2 seconds faster than its predecessor and just 0.2 second short of the FXX.

It is designed to be the sportiest mid-engine model to be distinguish itself from the recently launched California. The Italia was also featured in Top-Gear where it was applauded for its styling and performance. It lapped Top-Gear's test track with a timing of 1:19.1 which is 0.1 seconds short of the Enzo.
